Pixels (50x20)

I'm sure you all already know about The Million Dollar Homepage
It sure can generate a lot of traffic.

Problems:

1. I want something readable (50x20 pixels) and that is expensive.
2. I don't need that much traffic.

Solution

Buy a big bunch of pixels and share the traffic.

Plan

We raise $1000 with fundable.
From that we buy a 50x20 Pixel Block.
And link that to a page where we rotate banners/links of all "donors".

For each $10 you donate, you will buy one slot in a 100 slot list. (I will pay for my slots!).
I have a small script that will do a simple round-robin of the banners, so that each visitor will see the first five in the list, just rotating through.

I guess that a 50x20 will bring in around 10000 Hits per day.
Assuming 10% click on the first Banner,
that would be 10 Visitors every day for ... don't know ... at least a while.

And you would be on this list forever.

Charity

I think maybe we could shuffle in a charity banner now and then.
Like the red cross or unicef.

Just in case we don't make it. Which will never happen anyway... With at least 50 people joining in, we can buy 50x10 pixels.
