Pizza Hut Fundraiser
Pizza and a fundraiser: Perhaps the greatest dynamic duo since Batman and Robin. Combine this duo with the Pizza Hut name and you’ll have money-raising success for your organization.
Let’s look at two ways you can partner with Pizza Hut to raise money: a pizza night fundraiser and a pizza discount card.
Pizza Night Fundraiser
To set up a Pizza Hut Fundraiser night, call your local restaurant. Nights are usually limited to Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday. Schedule your night about 3 weeks in advance.
If you live in a large city, ask if you can hold the event at different locations simultaneously. Most managers will comply. After all, this is extra business for them on a normally slow night(s).
Pizza Hut will email you a PDF flyer with your event’s details. At the flyer’s bottom is a claim check for supporters to fill out so your group gets credit.
Pass out or email your flyers 3 or 4 days before the event. This is where you can really go over the top with sales. Use the power of Facebook, Twitter, and MySpace to get the word out. Email friends, family, relatives, and co-workers.

Sales proceeds vary from area to area. Some Pizza Huts pay a flat 25% of all proceeds with no minimum sales goal. Others have a sliding scale such as:
- $200 - $500 net sales = 10% donation
- $501 - $1000 net sales = 15% donation
- $1001 + net sales = 20% donation
Sales count all day with locations usually open from 11a.m. to 10 p.m. Most stores give credit for carryout, dine in, and delivery. All items must be purchased at regular price to qualify.
Usually by the Friday of that week, you’ll receive an email with your proceeds total. Then it’s another 7 to 10 days to receive a check.
The great thing about this fundraiser: You can run another event the next month. Some stores, however, do require meeting a minimum sales goal.

Pizza Hut Discount Card
Another successful seller is the Pizza Hut discount card. There are several variations of the card depending on where you buy them.
Your local Pizza Hut will often supply your group directly with cards. Their program may look something like this:
Buy cards for $5each.
Sell for $10 with discount values of $95.
Each card has 12 peel off stickers that contain two offers.
- The stickers are coupons: e.g. Buy any large pizza at menu price, get a medium one-topping pizza free or $5 off a purchase of any large pizza.
Cards are good for 1 year or until the coupons are used up.
